Obligation of my study

I have to read many books in a library because I'm doing a doctorate at stuttgart university. My major is architecture. My research's theme is to write about the role of architecture concern of "society change", specially in field of housing. To achieve my goal, I have to meet regulary my professor and develop my thesis. In the mean time and in the end of my research process I have to make a presentation about the result. After the presentation I become a judge with note from panel. Then I have to publish my reasearch. At the moment I'm increasing my German vocabulary because I write in German my research. I'm preparing of next meeting with my professor.
